After successful completion of the course, students can
- participate and chair meetings conducted in English and about current international business topics, face-to-face and online
- participate and chair negotiations conducted in English and about current international business topics, face-to-face and online
- use online communication tools/networks appropriately and successfully •successfully use the language of meetings and negotiations
- determine their position in a meeting/ a negotiation (ideal outcome, BATNA, bottom line)
- apply negotiation tactics accordingly
- negotiate in writing
- understand how to proceed in international/intercultural meetings/ negotiations and apply these strategies successfully
- read and understand work-relevant literature in English
- understand and discuss texts dealing with complex economic and business topics
- understand and apply situation- and topic-appropriate vocabulary orally and in writing
- correctly use basic and advanced English grammar.
