After successful completion of the course, students can:
- present and interpret international politics and foreign policy in a structured way on the basis of theories
- describe the different dimensions of security
- recognise central norms of written international law and customary international law
- describe state strategies to exert pressure on other states
- distinguish between lawful and unlawful strategies of states on the basis of criteria
- explain current violent conflicts and crises in a sustainable way.
