- Grammar: verb tenses (active and passive), noun compounds/ phrases/ combinations, describing trends, multiword verbs, reported speech, adverbs and adjectives, defining and non-defining relative clauses, question tags, cleft sentences, linking phrases and words, inversion

After successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
- Apply situation- and topic-appropriate vocabulary orally and in writing, also in regards to topical international and sustainable developments
- Correctly use basic and advanced English grammar
