Campus and location

The university is situated in a lively location in Vienna’s second district: the first district, with Museumsquartier and Rathausplatz just a short trip away on the U2 underground line, you can reach the Praterstern interchange in just two minutes, or take time out in the Prater park – the options are almost endless.

The university is located on three different sites. The main building is close to the U2 station Messe Prater, just a short walk from the leafy surroundings of the Prater park. You will also find the university’s library there. The Media Quarter Marx site is located next to the Puls4 and Pro7 media group.

Located close to Mexikoplatz, the third site is home to the university’s Quality Management, HR Management and Controlling departments, the Psychological Counselling Service for Students and the Competence Center for Black Sea Region Studies.

Public transport

Underground:
U2 station Messe Prater, Prater exit, three minutes on foot
U1 station Vorgartenstrasse, Radingergasse exit, seven minutes on foot

By bike
From Praterstern: on Ausstellungsstrasse (cycle path), Wohlmutstrasse is the fourth street on the left
Alternatively, take the cycle path through the Venediger Au park, go straight ahead onto Stuwerstrasse, then turn left onto Wohlmutstrasse

By car
From Praterstern: on Ausstellungsstrasse, Wohlmutstrasse is the fourth street on the left
From Handelskai: via Machstrasse and Elderschplatz onto Ausstellungsstrasse, Wohlmutstrasse is the fourth street on the right

The second district is a short-term parking zone from Monday to Friday between 9am and 10pm.
