Information for prospective part-time lecturers

We offer part-time lecturing opportunities for
- experts from businesses and other organisations
- experts working at higher education institutions
who enjoy teaching with a focus on learning outcomes and would like to lecture at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna for up to six teaching hours per week in addition to their full-time job.
General requirements for part-time teaching staff
Information about specific requirements regarding education, experience and soft skills will be provided by the respective degree programme staff/research unit.
Education/training
- Degree in a relevant subject
- High level of German or English, depending on the respective language of instruction
Experience
- Professional experience in one of the degree programme’s target occupational fields
- or subject-related academic experience in areas connected with the target occupational fields
- Teaching experience
- Experience in teaching in the respective language of instruction is an advantage
