In order for us to get a good initial picture of your previous work history, your qualifications as well as your professional goals and your wishes for the future position, we ask you to send us the following documents via our platform:

Curriculum vitae (incl. listing of research projects / teaching qualifications etc.)
Convincing letter of motivation
Proof of your university/university of applied sciences degree

How does the application process work?

After the pre-selection by our HR team and the respective department, we look forward to getting to know you in a personal or virtual interview. It is not only important for us to learn more about you as a person, but also to give you a realistic picture of the position and to exchange mutual expectations.

For positions in the area of teaching & research, we will subsequently invite you to a so-called trial teaching session. We would like to simulate a teaching situation and give you the chance to demonstrate your teaching skills.

If all steps have been successful and we agree that we are a good match, the contractual details will be clarified. During a final meeting, all key data will be discussed once again and open questions clarified. We look forward to you joining our team soon.

With the help of our comprehensive onboarding programme, we will support you in quickly finding your way around and feeling at home at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna.
