Learning outcome

After successful completion of the course, students can

  • name and explain the basics of IT
  • name security-relevant topics in the IT area and communicate their meaning
  • formulate working assignments for out-house specialists as a customer in a software development process, and assess proper compliance
  • oversee this development process and, as a link between financial and IT experts, display data and frequency distributions in spreadsheets and graphs
  • present data using a spreadsheet software
  • perform mathematical operations on the data, making use of software
  • illustrate and graphically outline the desired final results
