After successful completion of the course, students will be able to

  • understand the concept of social entrepreneurship and the opportunities and challenges for social entrepreneurs
  • understand the socio-economic effects of social entrepreneurship by discussing its effects on society and environment
  • explain the challenges of social entrepreneurs regarding financing and developing a sustainable business model
  • adapt the given tool (Social Business Model) by developing and evaluating an own social business idea
