Communicative focus:
General Spanish: rooms, furniture, art and equipment of a home, spatial instructions, public transport routes, a search for a home.
Directions, public transport routes, looking for a flat; arguing advantages and
and disadvantages, information from diaries about historical events, description of
past circumstances, memories of past situations, expressions of similarities, differences and affinities between people, likes and feelings, evaluations of people, information about a person's personality, likes and experiences.
Spanish in the working environment: historical (in relation to political and economic events) and biographical (in relation to entrepreneurs) data of Spanish-speaking countries, circumstances of events, description of places of work, the different departments of a company, presentation of a company.
Language focus:
Place names; the affirmative imperative; the imperfect; concomitant circumstances in a narrative
and habitual action; use of perfect, indefinido and imperfect; time words; verbs and gustar, encantar, apasionar, etc; conditional I; interrogatives; feminine nouns: -dad, -ez, -eza, -ía, -ura.

After successful completion of the course, students can:

  • understand information about companies and their products;
  • grasp the most important information from simple texts (what, where, when);
  • answer and connect simple telephone calls in the workplace, give brief location/directions and ask for guidance;
