Theory lecture, analysis of film examples and texts, discussion, group work.

Learning outcome

After successful completion of the course, the students can
analyse dramaturgical patterns in TV series, 2-13 parts series and miniseries and categorise them accordingly
interpret their functionality und target setting with regards to the target audience, also in applied examples
identify possible rule violations (intentional, unintentional) in serial formats.
