Project Management Law
Brief description
Legal dimensions of planning, initialising, implementing and completing a project and discussion of any relevant follow-up questions. Legal issues from the field of employment law, particularly cross-border cases, types of contract and termination of contracts, topics of individual and collective employment law relevant to project-oriented businesses, topics of civil law with a focus on contract design and liability during the course and after the completion of a project, topics of procurement law with a focus on legal proceedings and means of appeal, as well as additional relevant topics of administrative law and European law, with a focus on licenses (business) and protection of rights (e.g. within the EU single market).

Learning outcome
After successfully completing this module, students will be able to identify the most important legal issues relevant to the various levels and stages of project implementation, evaluate the the related efforts as well as the risks of incorrect assessment, find solutions to simple problems or seek legal advice for more complicated matters.
