Learning outcome
After successful completion of the course, students can explain basic mathematic methods of financial mathematics and linear algebra; they can also apply these methods to problems in business sciences. Furthermore, students can apply basic analytical methods of descriptive statistics, i.e. location, distribution and dependency levels of statistical frequency, and calculate and interpret probability distributions.
